Saw Broken Down Z8 (archive)

Hi, I just posted this on the E46 board.

On the way to work this morning I saw a brand new Z8 with temp plates broken down.

This was on the median strip of the US 93S offramp to River Road in Andover, MA. Man, I'd be pissed if I spent $250K on a car and it crapped out immediately.

I'm pretty sure that it's broken down for two reasons:

1) Who would park a car like this in a location like that?

2) A co-worker who came in 15min before me saw the motorist on his cell phone, apparently calling for help.

Anyone just buy a new silver Z8 from Dreher-Holloway in Stratham, NH? It had Dreher-Holloway license frames.
