My Z8 suffered a cracked hi-beam lens (better than a rock chip on the paint!). The replacement part (~$150 light assembly) has been on order for nearly 2 weeks. The service rep at Classic BMW sez there's a process for pulling one off "the line" when there are none in the stock. In my opinion, that process is broken if I have to wait this long. Any similar experience? Any suggestions on how to escalate without burning Classic, who normally do a good job?
