they test them on the "autobahn" close to munich ant they test EACH Z8, so they got min. 24 miles, cuz thats the lengh of that course. they are all driven by the same guy who never had an accident.



Mine had one mile also. I suspect that someone resets the odometer to "1' alleged test. The salesman at Classic BMW in Richardson said he's seen speedos that have a bigger number on the trip odometer than on the main odometer. How could that happen? And about that test run - do you think break-in rules are obeyed?

None of these cars are shipped until they go to the test track. 15 miles is not a big deal. Mine had 24 miles on it and I saw it as is cam off the BMW truck direct from the VPC, Oxnard.
