Thanks for giving me a push. I contacted BMW Canada head office where I spoke with a customer service rep. He checked with product management and told me that the phone is indeed included but the hardtop rack and car covers are extra cost accessories not included in the list price. I wonder why my dealer told me twice that the phone wasn't included. Just a mistake perhaps. Anyway, the phone will ultimately get to me, but I have to buy the other two items, I guess.

You can call them , that would be best. As a Z8 owner they will bend over backwards for you. If you don't get anywhere. Send me a copy of your correspondence and I will send it to the folks who will fix it. You should have no problems on your own.

Any way to confirm this in writing from a BMW Canada or BMW corporate source? My dealer has checked with BMW Canada and confirmed that the phone is not included. I wasn't even aware of the hardtop stand or cover as they were never mentioned or offered by my dealer.

All are standard equipment worldwide. See your dealer or BMWNA

Cars delivered in Canada are not supplied with phone or stand or cover as far as I know. Anyone know any different?

I got the hardtop on the car, and it didn't come with a stand. I did not get the phone from my broker. Hit me back if you find out anything.
