I agree with Z8Bob, it is a good idea to go ahead and register. There are some nice benefits with the owners' circle.
However, you will still need to involve a dealer somewhere along the line. They tend to always try to inquire about your dealer and as far as the phone is concerned the dealer ordered mine after I chose the carrier. I also just received a note from roadster fan(with BMW AG)confirming that the hardtop does come with a stand and cover as Z8Bob received with his.
My dealer is currently handling the hardtop request, which is why I believe somehow your dealer will need to get involved.
Stay after it, this car has no options and you should get all the stuff that comes with it.

Does anyone have a contact name and phone number at BMWNA that can help with the problem of missing equipment? I am still trying to obtain my phone and hard top stand.

Additionally, is there any way to control radio volume other than opening the MID cover? A very minor inconvenience and just wondering if I have missed something.
