I just talked to my dealer's part department. I did not by my Z8 from them, but through a third party. The car came from Canada.

They are telling me I must go through the original dealer to get this done.

This seems a little harsh.

See my response to the other posting above for the balance of the info. You should have yours soon. Your Dealer MUST request in writing to BMW that they ship the top, once they have sent notification to them that the top is available.

What's your last three digits of the serial number? When was your car originally delivered, and when did you get the harttop?

I'm #...596, delivered a month ago, and still no word on the hardtop.

Finally got around to posting a pictures of the Hardtop on the (standard equipment) rack with the (standard equipment) cover.
