Does anyone know if the car can be had anywhere for MSRP. Also what are the waiting lists like for these cars. Thanks.

You can find Z8s for less than US MSRP - through http://www.carclassic.com/. The company is located in Switzerland. They have several available now for around $100K, including their commission. After you acquire the car you will have to import the car through a Registered Importer (See the list: http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/rules/import/RiHT0012.html The cost to get the car processed, including shipping, is around $16K and takes about 6 weeks.
