An economist might argue this guy only adds cost to the vehicle acquisition equation. This self-described non-dealer, non-broker writes on his site: "No, I am not a dealer or broker. Actually, I am a physician (ob/gyn) who has a passion for high performance European automobiles. I currently have a 1997 Porsche Twin Turbo and just sold a 1999 Mercedes C43 AMG. I have my own deposits for a few of these cars - sorry, those are for my wife and for myself!

With my passion, I have developed a network of dealers/brokers who either have actual cars, cars coming in or are constantly looking to buy or sell slots whenever they have a committed buyer who places a deposit for the car. I am not in the business to make a killing (this is not my livelihood!) but the price to you will obviously depend upon what it costs me (or the broker) to get the vehicle."
