It is standard equipment. Your dealer is trying to rip you off. Those guys at the owners circle are the last to know anything.

I just recieived my hardtop and the rack and a $300.00 bill for the rack. When I emailed BMW through the Owner's Circle, they confirmed that the rack is extra. Is this what others have found? Somewhere I thought I read the rack was part of the package.
