I have now received confirmation from a senior officer of BMWNA that ONLY USA cars get the hartop, rack and rack/top cover as part of the purchase price. Everyone else caveat emptor.

Seems like there are still a few advantages to being a Yank!

BMW Canada has confirmed that the hardtop rack and fabric cover are not included with Canadian Z8s. Another owner in Canada has checked this also and received the same information. Z8Bob suggested contacting BMWNA, but I have not done this as I don't believe that BMWNA (which is BMW USA) has any influence on BMW Canada. Bob, if I am incorrect, let me know, but otherwise it looks like we are out of luck up here in the great white north.
