throttle pedal question (archive)

Yahooooo! I'm finally through the break-in period. Had some really great driving days this last weekend and did some serious motoring. We even got our first suntans of the year!

Up until last Friday, the car was in for servicing for two weeks, mainly because of a backup at the body shop, but I'm happy to say that the new paint on the front fender is perfect, and most of the other niggly complaints have been taken care of. However, I am interested to know from other owners whether they have dealt with a problem of a sticky throttle pedal. Mine starts out reasonably smooth, but at the end of yesterday's five hour drive it was unacceptably sticky and annoying. I've noticed this on other new BMWs but to a lesser extent. Anyone have this problem? Did it get fixed? How? I'll let the dealer have a crack at it, but thought I would ask the experts first. Thanks in advance for any info you can share.
