Thanks Bob. I just received another email from BMWUSA telling me that the stand and cover are not standard equipment and that I have to order it, and pay for it, through my dealer. From what I can tell from this forum they are in fact standard equipment. At this point I would even be willing to pay for it but none of the dealers I talk to have a part number.

I would like to take you up on your offer and forward you the correspondence for you to pass it along to your contact.
