... the plastic window / strap-down cover blanket / tonneau cover are a pain, but once the top is down and can be kept down, it's worth having to deal with the top inconveniencies.

the 400 Z8s a year was the original plan- I think its up to 500-600 now; again, this is not new capacity, but this is from shifting cars from other markets.

as to the plastic rear window and manual tonneau cover- those were chosen to allow the car to have such low door lines- otherwise the door lines would have to be higher. Id prefer all the modern convienences, but Im glad they made the choices they did.
