Had offerred them the opportunity to use my car to make a kit, but they were too busy to make time to drive up and do it.
I bounced the idea off Z8 Bob and it just didn't make sense to worry about the mostly minor chips that occur on the front or using plastic to protect plastic.
Saved the dollars and bought the OEM Paintstick combo for filling the minor chips that eventually occur.

That is the central question in the first place...

What are you protecting and why? IMHO the car's asthetics are fundemental parts of ownership. At best a "Bra" only protects from stone ships, most of which would occur in the plastic bumper, easily filled, at least on my silver car. At worst, while protecting from insignifcant chips, you wear away the finish from vibration and trapped grit while the car looks...
well you get the idea. I would not do it, but that is just my opinion.

Bob

Anyone know of a manufacturer making a good "bra" for the Z8? I believe that's what those leather devices for protection against bug splatters and road pebbles are called, but I'm not certain. Also, is there any reason *not* to use such a device, other than aesthetics?
