Door sill protection (archive)

Just took delivery of a new Z8, and it looks like the door sills may be vulnerable to scratches from getting in and out. Does anyone know where you can get a clear plastic film that can be easily removed/replaced to protect the sills? Have only seen pictures of them somewhere and hope they have a little more class than my Aunt Sarah's plastic sofa covers! Thanks.
