Verified small box is on strapped to the top...but (archive)

My dealer just mentioned that he was billed for the rack. I believe another gentleman had posted a similar experience. I mentioned to the dealer that the rack was standard equipment for the US, so that they needed to work it out with BMWNA.
He is investigating.
Any ideas Z8Bob..maybe your contacts may not be aware of these charges being passed on to the dealer for the rack.

The rack is not IN the box. It will be strapped to the top. If there is not a 36X20X4 box there on top, have them get it before your drive home otherwise you will not have a rack to put it on.

Will drive up and have it installed next week. Wanted to make sure I was present to get very comfortable with the installation and removal process. The box has not been opened yet..so we will verify the inclusion of the rack and cover next week.
