Just took delivery :)))) .... and a question (archive)

Well, yesterday I finally got my Z8 (Titanium Silver with Black interior). What a great car. First of all, I was amazed at how precise all the "inputs" are (clutch, throttle, gear shift, steering, etc.). And the sound is incredible. And the tightness/rigidity is incredible. And the engine revs so willing. I could go on and on and on.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but I am really happy with my choice.

I do have a quick question:

I noticed that when I finished driving the Z8 and shut the car off, there was some "clanking" from underneath the car (sounds like someone taking a small hammer and tapping a piece of tubular aluminum). When sitting in the car I could feel it gently underneath the seat. I am guessing that it is an aluminum component contracting during cooling (similar to motorcycles). I am not sure if this is normal, and I am wondering if any other Z8 owners have noticed this.
