In case you did not see my message posted as a follow up to your response to "642 Hard top has been delivered" . . .

My car was also delivered with the top and I have been going through exactly the same thing trying to get the stand. However, with Z8 Bob's help, it appears we have it worked out.

Although the dealers have been told that BMWUSA will contact owners about the stand, it appears that the dealer has to order the top stand/cover for you. The part number for the stand/cover is 82 15 7 037 901.

I called my dealer last week and he told me he would order it under warranty. I just left a message today inquiring as to status. I will let you know what he says as soon as I hear.
