I think Z8 Eldred aka the Mud Man :-) is right- but I can see how the reviewers might come to their conclusions about the steering as Ive found that around 3500 miles something occured with the car that it sticks to the road better and the steering feels better. I asked someone at BMW about this and we discussed 2 things- the suspension settled in (I dont know if this really happens or not) and that the run flats might take a little longer to break in. Either way, I now have 7,000 miles on the car and it drives beautifully.

I sold my 360 to buy a Z8 and I am glad I did, for all the aforementioned reasons. I also owned a 97 Turbo and a 1999 996 Cab. I will never sell the Z8. It is spectacular to look at, a thrill to drive, the exhaust sound perfect and there is a great dealer network to service it. Everyone lucky enough to own this car is blessed.

I am in San Diego. The top didn't come off and some pro athlete just had to have it. It was a F1 and while it is trick, it's just not the same as
a six speed. Guess I was too old to change. Great sound though.
