He said something about taking it off, I saw the razor, and assumed he'd take it out and use the flat end of the razor--silly me! I was trying to overhear the manager's conversation when he was trying to track down where the hardtop was at the time, so I wasn't paying attention to what the sales guy was doing. He cut out the sticker, leaving the border where it was stuck on (so in a sense he didn't completely remove the window sticker--don't know what he was thinking).

Long-n-short is that he left a vertical and horizontal scratch on the window, which I didn't notice until after I removed the border part at home, since the border was hiding the damage. {Then, of course, they didn't want to pay to replace the window...but that's another in a long list of stories regarding this dealer.}

After having such prolems with the dealer that sold me my Z8, I got in touch with the Owner's Circle at BMWNA and they are taking good care of me :)

They got in touch w/ a local dealer for me and they ALREADY have the hard top there for me! Took about a week. Now, waiting on the driver-side window replacement that the dealer's salesman scratched taking off the window sticker. I'll drive it in for both at once, since it's about a 150mile drive to that dealer ;)

Just wanted to say "thank you" for pointing those of us troubled w/ our dealers in the right direction.

Thanks,
Glenn
