The ONLY tyre which BMW will even mention is the Bridgestone Potenza RE040 (run flats & work with pressure sensor). Thats fine but BMW UK are quoting £517 PER TYRE excluding fitting (£55+tax per hour). Now just because we didn't mind parting with £80k for the car, I think it's taking the piss to expect us to pay through the nose for tyres. Even Ferrari are not so restrictive on the tyres the recommend. For the manufacturer to recommend just one tyre is a joke.

Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of other tyres on the Z8 ?? Advice would be very welcome.
